Unhappy Missing photos from older topic?

Can someone tell me why all of my photos I uploaded to this site are now missing from the topic? I want to refer someone to this topic and found all the thumbnails of uploaded photos are gone. I hope they can be recovered...

Where the photos stored on our site, or in an offline site such as Photobucket? If here on our server they may have been lost, as we changed out servers (physical hard ware computer was replaced with another one) about a month back. I store all of my photos off line and link them with the IMG html conmmand that Photobucket generates automatically when you press the share photo button. If they where stored on site then send Don a message (he is the site administrator and works the hardware end). His email address can be found on the home page under contact us.

This could be bad.

<stuff removed>. I'm still seeing a ton of pics I've attached at the site in my User CP attachments area.

Guys - It is unlikely that the photos are lost. This is probably an artifact of the server move. I have already put in a bug report and hopefully it will get fixed this afternoon.

Thanks... Don

EDIT: This should be good now. Please test and advise.

Thanks Don! Awesome.

Dave, I do both. Before I subscribed as a paying member my photo space was running out so I started linking photos from my own server. Those were fine, it was just the uploaded ones that had thumbnails.

Word to the wise about linking to outside free photo hosting sites: Photobucket has extremely slow servers and most photos linked from that service take a long time to download. Webshots and others like Imageshack are a little better.

Maybe we could start a thread about rating some of the free photo hosting sites online.

Well Photobucket down loads photos faster than I can see them (as I do not have a super high speed connection).
