holley 3417

New to this site, but would like to see if anyone can tell me something about this holley carburetor. the list number is 3417 part# is 3887147
date is 661. metering block is 4963 and 4965. my question is what does
this carb fit? I know it suppose to fit a 427 390hp passenger car but I have no idea what chevy model or models it goes on. I have been trying to get a idea what this carb is worth and have so far unable to do so. I have try ebay, craigs list and any place I can think of and I still have not seen one of these carb for sale, I am trying to sell this carb but I have no idea how much to ask for. Need a price range. thanks any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much but it, but what I found says 66 Passenger car also. Other than the the Corvette which takes a different carb leaves the 427 Impala, Biscayne, Belair.

Give Holley a call and see what they offer you as a core. It is only valuable to someone buying it who wants it.

To me it is a ten dollar core as I couldn't care less about the numbers on the carb and use them only to identify the parts to build a matching sized carb (you don't want to put a 500 cfm two barrel metering plate on the front of a 465 cfm four barrel; as even though it fits perfectly, the fuel air/passages inside are all wrong for that application and the carb will not work afterwords).
