1965 impala ignition lock removal

Hello, I am new here . I have a 65 impala and Im gonna take the ignition lock cylinder out, there are two holes there, do I put the paper clip in both holes at once or do I just use one? What position should the key be in when I do this? Thanks.

ACC position, when you have the right hole, you should feel a slight spring pressure from the detent inside the hole, press it and it should turn more to the left from ACC then pull it out.

Ignition switch

Just a precautionary comment, don't try to remove the ignition lock chrome bezel not until you pull out the cylinder.
