67 1/4 panel

need help-- been searching for months, i finally found a parts car for my 67 impala convertible at a junk yard-----i only need the pass full 1/4 panel--the parts car is a hardtop- my question is will it fit my convertible- feed back is much appreciated...

As much as the convertible has to offer should fit. Above that you will need to find a hard top or fabricate your own from sheet metal.

Yes a hardtop quarter will work as long as its a 2 door . I have a friend doing the same thing to his 67 convertible, because no one makes a proper fitting reproduction.

If you want a full quarter panel as you said in your post then NO it will NOT work. The trunk opening is much different on the Convert vs the Hardtop.

If you are going to splice in just using the side then you will be fine.

64 Impala SS 327/300 survivor

thanks for replies-
i understand that i will have to stop just above top crease.just wasnt sure if the side body lines changed .. i know trunks on convertibles are a bit wider making the top of 1/4 more narrow..... if i end up getting 1/4panel, i will post up pictures.......

Actually, no makes an IMPROPER-fitting reproduction [full] quarter panel for the 1967 Impala. Only patch panels are available.
