For the body shop

I just bought a chevy Impala 4 door with post is it possible to remove the post for a cleaner look and will the windows still meet in center like the no post cars is this possible or no?

Not even remotely. You have a four door sedan and you really want a four door hard top. I suggest you sell what you have and buy what you want, as you will probably never be happy with the car.

There is nothing wrong with a 4 door sedan. In fact they are stronger, and do not have the problem of the sheet metal cracking near the lower corners of the rear window, that you sometimes see on the two doors. It is also easier to manage the door in a parking lot. (although who is going to park their restored classic in a tight parking space and risk door dings? )

Besides, you go to the car show and everyone has the SS, convertible, 409, with all the options ever made. Be different

Post and no post cars are completely different cars. Some parts interchange.
