Hello all,
I joined this site this past weekend.
I have a 63 impala hardtop that I restored in the mid to late 80's.
I would drive it to work through the week, & work on it evenings & weekends.
I replaced the left quarter when I found bondo from a previous patch job.
The paint is starting to show a lot of wear and tear, but I built it to drive.
I put a few cars in the album area titled old rides.
Here is the 63.
Thanks Bob

Welcome Bob, I also drive mine. We actually take it on vacation at least once a year. I enjoy driving the old cars.

I go to Missouri once a month to work on my rent houses. When i get home I seldom touch the truck again. All I drive are my old cars. Having five old cars each gets a 3 or 4 day work out.

Thanks, Dave, Larry & Bob. Tell me what cars you have.
The 63 is my summer driver, but I am working on a 72 chevelle wagon for a driver also. I also have a 69 el camino that I hope to start on next year.
I gave a 72 el camino to my grandson to restore when he expressed interest in the oldies.
I've got a 64 bel air wagon that I was going to restore, but I'm afraid I've got enough on my platter as it is, so I might sell it unless my grandson wants to do it.
Any way they are fun to drive.
Bob

I am assume you are also aware of our sister site that covers Chevelles and El Caminos over at Team Chevelle.

http://www.chevelles.com/

Team has similar sites for Novas and Camaros.

Bob, If you remember the name of that album, I sure would like to see your cars, especially the GTO's.
The only convertible I ever owned was a 57 chevy, wish I still had it.
