Classifieds empty?

I see there are no classifieds anymore. Will they ever be back?

They age out. So if there is no activity (responses or pushes) they just fade away like old soldiers. This keeps ten year old ads for window felt or something from clogging up the board after they sold nine or more years back.

I've been watching the classifieds for years and they just don't get the activity seeing that they are on a separate board.

It's just one of those things...

Maybe they should pop up when you hit new posts.

That would be an improvement, although in my opinion, a sub-forum on the main page would work best.

Wondering what would be best for the forum? Would it make the site grow? Do we want it to grow? Would it create any unwanted problems?

That is how it is on Team Camaro, and Team Chevelle, but not here or on Team Nova. The Administrator would have to create a new sub-forum.

There are at least two places to access the classifieds sections. They are far from empty. I have several adds there.

http://www.impalas.net/classifieds/

At the top of the page, right under the Impala logo, there is a button to go to the classifieds.

Strange it doesn't keep the current ads in the forum One would think they would be linked together.

As far as growing the site, yeah, that would be great to get more participants. This is the second lowest attendance site I frequent. Our local Camaro Club site has the lowest.

Larry, I've had some ads on there now and then through the years and they just don't get the attention, in comparison.

I agree, but this site as a hole does not get much attention. Kinda low volume compared to other sites I'm on. But still a good site. I've made friends and offered advice to a lot of Impala guys. Every now and then I sell them some parts.
