First car I bought for my self was a 65 SS Impala
Came with a clapped out 409 4 speed shell for parts.

Now I have a late model impala, was hoping to get some info on here but this looks like it is for the classics.

any GM technicians on here?

Welcome to the Team Lee!

Bet you wish you still had that 409 powered '65 Impala now. Would be worth a lot more than any brand new front wheel drive Impala named W-body car today. Sorry to say you don't need a mechanic so much as you need a computer programmer. Most problems with modern Impala cars lie with the 14 computers that control it's operation. Any bad line of code and it stops working.
