68 Caprice Project New Here

Hi everyone, my names Walt and I'm from PA. About a month ago I picked up a 68 Caprice with 45k original miles. Original everything. It's got a 327 250hp motor with a TH400 tranny. It's rough but it starts and drives. For years I've been working on imports and this is my first go at restoring a classic American car. I've found this site very helpful so far so I decided to join in! I'm hoping to be able to help anyone out if I can and relieve some helpful from you guys who probably know a lot more than I do with these old chevys.

Welcome Walt, glad to have you hear and glad to hear you made a switch to classic iron!

that's a nice find you have there. They are getting harder to find with low miles but it's always cool to hear when someone picks one up!

Nice cars

I have Always really liked these cars, here is a nice one for sale in N.D. for a decent price. Contrary to what most people think of cars in N.D. they are not always that rusty. Low population, salt was never really used before the 1980's. This car is for sale for 6500.00 or best offer. Welcome to the team.
