Checking in from NJ

I recently acquired a 63 Impala SS with a 408 stroker. It's a complete frame up restoration. I traded it for my 66 Shelby Cobra replica that I built 17 years ago. My wife has been bugging me to get a car with a roof and windows so I pulled the trigger. I found this car in PA and traded for the Chevy and some cash to me. Took it to a show today and won best 60's car.

This is the build site for my old Cobra: Cobra Project Page

I live in Jackson, NJ but just moved there from Fairfield, NJ a year ago August.

Welcome to the Team Roscoe!

Is that a W' Block (348) bored and stroked to make a 408/409? Or a four inch bore 350 really bored and really stroked, or a just bored out 400 SBC, or maybe a bored 396 block? There are a lot of ways to build an engine around that cubic inch displacement.

Solid car. The Cobra was certainly fun I'm sure but that Impala is a sweet, clean build. She looks like she means business and a manual at that.

If you make it into South Eastern Pa or places slightly west drop me a line. I'd love to meet up at a show and check that out.
