Just joined from Maryland!

Hello,

I am happy to be part of this forum. I just inherited a 1 owner 1966 impala soft top. It was more or less a "barn find" having sat in a garage for many years. I have been little by little nursing it back to health and have found forum searches and members' posts helpful thus far.

So, thanks for everyone's contributions and i'm looking forward to being part of the community moving forward!

Milo

The car looks great.

It is surprising that it has Frame issues.

Looks way too nice not to restore.

Keep us posted on it.

it had a repaint back in the 90s. but it was in NY all its life. I don't know why the frame rotted but it is pretty bad. someone tried to patch the passenger side with a huge piece of angle iron.

Sounds like it might have been stored in a place with a dirt floor that was moist all winter long.
