New to the community, first classic car!

Hey guys
I am new to the site! I have been lurking around reading your threads and learning about the car. My father in law built the car and I bought it rather than seeing him sell it to some idiot that wouldn't love it. I've recently added 15 x 10 rallyes with 295's on the rear, 235's on the front. Installed some Octane Lighting headlights and some HID bulbs. Waiting for a UMI adjustable pan hard bar to arrive tomorrow. I've got a few more things I want to do to the car so I am sure I will have some questions for you guys!

Thanks

Aaron

Man, I've got to log on more often! Sorry just read this. Here are some other pics I have. Installed the UMI adjustable pan hard bar, lowering springs and belltech shocks last weekend. Has a nice stance now. Here are a few interior pics I have on my phone.

Looks comfy, but would result in third degree burns in Florida. Our Canadian tourists tend to forget that they move closer to the equator down here so the sun is directly over head at noon during the summer months, (thinnest part of the atmosphere), so they are broiled Lobstah Red in about twelve minutes at the beach.

That stronger sun light and a glass green house has that black interior sitting at 170 to 190 degrees in the same time period.

even here in the midwest you can get a fried a.. in the summer. i take a towel to cover the seat in my 65 vert to bring the surface temp down to atleast a driveable temp before leaving a cruise or show.

Wow, that's a beautiful car! I love those black wheels. I just picked up a '67 a month ago, kinda in upgrade mode right now... but your engine bay is in way better shape than mine. ha! Great call buying that from your dad.

You should totally take it on the hot rod power tour next month. I'd love to check it out.
