1967 4 door, hardtop, no post

Hi everyone, I just joined today, and I'm looking forward to seeing lots of beautiful Impalas and learning many things. I bought my project from a salvage yard last year, it's my first restoration, and right now my husband and I are just working on making slow steady progress toward getting her in decent running condition - it will take a while, since I'm not currently employed, and the money I make doing odd jobs mostly goes toward our family's mini farm, but I'm ok with going slow, as that gives me an opportunity to learn as we get things done on her.

Welcome to the Team!

A more door makes a good family car. Not that bad looking considering it was in a salvage yard. Read up on the safety issues that have been addressed over the decades. You won't need rear disc brakes but if you have the patience to look you might find some off of a Corvette or old cop car for the front (use station wagon or old cop car drums and backing plates for the rear to slow it down).
