New Guy

Hey everybody. Just picked up my 64 SS earlier today and wanted to say hi!

Just because they pull up next to you doesn't mean they want to race, but better safe than a loser!

Just picked up a 64 ss a couple of weeks ago and is heading to the body shop soon. It's missing some of the factory accessories when i bought it. If anyone has any leads on a center dash with ac & cruise control and a remote mirror. Thanks in advance and here is a couple of pictures

64 SS, nice....

Very desirable. Which way are you going with it? Stock? Restomod? Or, west coast style since you are in WA?

Almost all the options you are looking for are uncommon to rare options if you are looking for factory correct parts. Get ready to pay some bucks for them. Even if you go with aftermarket parts you will probably pay handsomely.

Though those rare Chevy parts by definition are hard to find they are standard equipment on other GM products (such as the console in a Pontiac, or AC ducts in a Buick or a Cadillac). The problem is because these are trim parts (not required to make the car go). They differ in appearance across the various GM marquis. You could use a remote Buick side mirror and change the chromed Buick rear view mirror housing for a Chevy one and transfer the parts into the Chevy mirror. Not going to be easy and will require some fabrication but that could work for you if that is your hearts desire.

Yes they go for high dollar but money isn't the issue just finding og parts is hard. I just want to replace what was originally on the car since the previous owner took them off and sold them
