'64 wagon project...

Going to drag this to the house sometime next week. Also got a 68 or so Nova body in the same deal. (The one in the background). Body is nice and solid with only the passenger front fender dogleg needing some attention. Interior is nice with only the last seam in the headliner in the rear needing sewing back up. This is my first Chevy project and I'm looking forward to playing with it. First thing to happen is a Skim CLR job and an interior clean up to see how it's going to look. Then on to engine/trans, suspension and brakes. Considering an air ride setup for it at the moment.

Thanks Tom. Your wagon is sweet! I was looking at your blog and pics yesterday. I love the 2 door conversion, that thing is going to be nice! Your metal working skills are outstanding. My main hobby is aircooled VWs, but this deal was too good to pass on, plus I've always loved old wagons!

Welcome to the Team Dave!

Are you going to do something with the Nova? Team has a Nova site and we can answer any questions there as well you might have about the Nova.

I'm actually trying to barter the Nova to get the Wagon towed to the house and get an engine/trans from the guy doing the towing. If all goes well I'll wind up with the Wagon at the house and a good used SBC/TH350 combo to stick in it....

Take good care of those arm rest bases in the back seat. They are not reproduced (that I have been able to find).
