New to the site

Hey All!

I am a new member to the site and a relatively new Impala owner, but very familiar with similar forums/bulletin board sites.

I have a 67 Impala convertible that was recently passed down to my wife and I. My wife's grandfather bought in brand new and it's been in the family ever since! It's in really good shape, just looking for a few small things here and there that have worn with age.

Welcome to the site Randy, can't wait to see some pictures. Love the Convertibles!

As with most models these days, there are at least a half-dozen places to get parts. Also as usual, I've not found one to be consistently better than any other.

hubbards, impala Bobs, year one, Luttys, I think NPD (national parts depot), etc.

Welcome to the Team Randy!

Sounds like a cherished memento of your wife's heritage. I hope you and your family enjoy it for years to come (maybe pass it on to your grand kids when they get married).

I don't have a lot of great pictures yet, but here are a couple. Once I get it shined up and everything looking good I'll show you guys some better pictures.

Also, I realized I didn't give you guys many details about the car with my first post. It's a 327 with a Turbo 400. The car has about 170k miles on it, the motor was rebuilt at about 110k. Car has been repainted once and the interior has been recovered once. Other than that everything is pretty much original on the car. What did I forget to mention?

Great looking car! Congrats on keeping it in the family. I have a fondness for 67s. My grandfather had a 67 Impala hardtop for awhile in the 70s. It was red with black interior and black vinyl top. Wish I had it today...
