64 Bel air wagon

Hi guys, very new here, I havent even looked at a post yet. I'm thinking of purchasing a 64 Bel air wagon, but it needs some parts and not really sure what might be avaliable for new parts or used. for sure it needs all 4 doors, driver side fender, grille, and the rest of it is in good shape with no rust, the doors could get by with skins in nothing else. My main question is will Impala parts work? you now like the doors, suspension, fneder, gas tank. will the Impala parts interchange?

Yes a 4 Door Impala parts car is what you need. Some parts are Wagon only like the gas tank but from the front doors forward, its the same. The frame and suspension should be the same also but your wagon may have heavier duty parts.

Welcome to the Team Derek!

Yes a lot of parts interchange. But for those parts that do not (rear quarters, roof , tail gate and trim for those parts) are not reproduced so be sure they are in good shape as well as the frame.

The rear suspension is different namely the Banana bar and springs. Also the rear bumper brackets are different but bumper itself is same. Valance will be different if equiped with Backup lights. Four door back door is the same u just need to change window chanel and frame to the square style.

Basically only 63 and 64 interchange. But there are other common parts besides sheet metal.
