New Guy here & this is my 63 SS Vert

Want to start of and say so far I had read alot of info that will help me restore my first old school ride. Here are 2 pics of her:

She runs decent, the previous owner upgraded the motor and put a 350.

First Mods i plan on doing is having the exhaust system redone, it has Cherry Bombs on there now sounds awful.

So what do you guys think?

Beautiful '63 rag, welcome to the site. I agree the exhaust should be redone. Are you going to reroute? Are you going to restore original? Looks nice how it is.

Welcome Terrance! That is my second favorite year, allways liked the body points and of course anything topless is fine in my book. .

Welcome! From another '63 owner - she's a real beauty! I am happy with Thrush/Hush mufflers and like when the exhaust dumps out behind the rear tires.. a nice, original look. Good luck!

Thanks for the Warm Welcome. My planes with this car is to fully restore her. I am mapping my strategy out now. I would like to purchase a frame start my project as I continue to drive my car as much as I can. Planning on Tubular control arms, air ride, disc brakes, Billet Wheels, lots of powder coating and chrome are just a few things i have in mind.

Sounds like a good plan, building another frame then setting your body on it. It looks great now.
