67/95

Hi All,
I'm jeff morrow from Gilbert az. I have just jumped into the Impala collector scene. I have a 1967 Fastback in pretty good shape. I'll post pictures soon. I was wondering if anyone knew offhand if 1995 Caprice parts such as pwr disc brakes, suspension, and running gear would fit my 67? I have a 1995 Caprice donor car and since they are both frame cars??
I would like my 67 to stop and handle better...with the accent on stopping.
Anyway let me know what you think.
Thanks
jeff

Welcome to the Team Jeff!

Parts do not interchange directly as the 1996 car uses suspension parts from the 1977 to 1999 series of Impalas. Not to say that they can not be adapted with some machine work and a little imagination.

Thanks Big Dave,
I'll let you know how it works out. I think it will be a pretty good upgrade.
Thanks again

I have also heard of this kind of swap, Several guys have talked about it. Never seen one completed. A lot of measuring and a lot of wielding. Best of luck and keep us posted with lots of photos. OH! and Welcome.
