ID:	1506Sorry this took so long, but I have been really busy with a freshman in college, work, an 8th grader, and side work at night to fund the project. Let me know what you think. Painted back original color, new dash, new carpet, door panels, new wheels, new weatherstrips, Caprice tail lights, and a bunch of other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting. On the horizon are front disc brakes and a 350/700r4 conversion.

Looks great!

My dad had a 66 that color when I was a kid. Brings back some memories.

My '65 was also originally Mist Blue metallic with the same color inside.

Your trim code is probably 831 like mine.

I'm digging the wheels too

Looks great. How did you get the front end so low? Dropped spindles & cut coils is my guess. I lowered my 65 by cutting the coils and I really like the lowered look.

^^ I was wondering that too.

How many coils did you cut?
Top or bottom coils?
How's the ride?

No real magic trick on the stance, just 1 1/2 " drop coils on the front and rear. Came out with just enough rake and low, but not so low it drags over speed bumps. Everybody can't afford air ride, ya know. Plus, she's actually my daily driver. I must admit I enjoy people giving thumbs up and hollering across traffic to find out what year model, etc.!

By the way, in case anyone wants to know, 18 x 8 front and 18x 9 1/2 rear Boss Motorsports wheels and they did not require any kind of clearancing modifications.

Love it! That´s the best looking color on a single colored 65-66, the 338 Boss wheels is nice too!

Awesome!

WOW! Your car looks incredible!! I am doing a frame off restoration on my 65 right now. The stance of your car is exactly what I am looking for. I honestly thought the only way to get it was with air ride, which I can't afford considering everything else I'm doing. Do you have any part numbers for the springs and shocks you used to achieve this look? Any part numbers for the wheels? Would you mind giving me the tire sizes that you used? Incredible, great job!!
