Official Hello

Thank you everyone who has offered amazing advise. I just realized I never introduced myself. My name is Alex and I have been in the process of rebuilding my 68' Fastback since 1994! The past 3 years though have been amazing. I have been able to do a large amount of work. I just built a 560 HP 454 for the beast that is going in next week. Here are some pics..

The motor is the great part. I have been in the process of building this thing for 10 years. The block is a IV Gen 454 that was picked up in Buffalo NY. The heads are Oval ports from a 70 Chevelle. From there its all Competition Products internally. The crank is forged, the cam kinda throaty. The truth is that it was all built by my best friend who also builds motors for NASCAR. He bench flowed the heads, ported and polished them. He would just send me the list of what needed to be purchased and then I would do it. He did a fair amount of tricks to it.

We shall see what happens when I mount it to the tranny and drop it in.
