New to the forum

Want to drop in and introduce myself. I'm new to the impala scene, but not new to cars. I recently purchased a 61 Biscayne to build, but getting a slow start to due lack of time. It has a great start, but want to make it mine. Currently has a 383 stroker, Borg Warner 4spd, and 355 rear. The car has one of the most rust-free bodies I have ever seen. Not sure of the history, but it is one solid car. Mainly wanted to join for research and random questions. I'll try to get a pic uploaded as soon as I can.

Thanks,
Dennis (sick61)

Welcome to the site Dennis - that's a clean looking 61 you have there. There is one similar in looks locally but it's that sea--green color. Lots of good lines on a 61.

Thanks for all the kind words. Means a lot coming from other impala owners. I have some big plans for the car, just got to find sometime to accomplish them.

I think one of the best pieces about the car...I purchased it at the Goodguys show in Columbus, OH back in July of this year. Had owned the car less than 8 hours and had only driven it around 10 miles. Got up Sunday morning and drove it home 13 hours. No better way to get to know a car. lol
