Signed up earlier this week when I found the forum and had a question. Looks like a great website. I have a 64 Impala SS convertible, red on red with white top. My Dad and I did a frame off restoration 21 years ago on this car. It was a factory no option, 327 250 hp 4 spd car. Back then we added factory air, factory ps and factory pb from some parts cars we located and changed over to an automatic and changed over to 300 horse heads. The car is a driver and has held up well over the past twenty years but time is catching up. Over the past year the car has been repainted with base coat clear coat. We are in the proces of rewiring the car now, adding a new vintage air conditioning system and changing back over to the original 4 speed. Look forward to enjoying this website.

It's funny how much more is available now parts wise than it was 20 years ago.

Chip
