Impala body work

How to get the body molding off of a '66 Impala without taking the paint off?

well, there are nuts at each end of every piece.

after that, you need something shaped like a 'V' that you would insert right at the popped in spots. You could try a piece of cut sheet-metal, protecting the car with something like felt or cardboard. Could also substitute a bondo spreader that you cut to shape.

yes.. I find that the bondo spreaders work well in this instance.

semi-flexible putty knife and masking tape to protect the paint works good too if you're careful.

Good, Fast, Cheap, but you can only pick two!
