Last week at the age of 72 I bought a 65 Biscayne ex drag car w/o the engine.

It had a Must II IFS so I found another frame(1966). The frame
is missing the rt front spindle. I can buy after market spindles
which will lower it 2" & accept disc brakes, but I still need a
steering arm.......My vision for this car is a small block, 4 spd car.
White w/a red interior.

It has a 12 bolt 4.88 disc brake rear end which I will probably sell
or change the ratio.

The 12 bolt will have a four series carrier so the lowest gear you can put in the differential is an after market 3.73:1. You will need to think about trading for a replacement rear end (which I am sure somebody will want to do) to get a three series open rear or buy an new Eaton PosiTrac three series carrier and lower gears (three series will accept a 2.73 to a 3.90 - 4.10 if aftermarket gear ratio).

Spindle is the same from 1965-'67 for drum brakes (that is all they offered back then). I have heard of people adapting Corvette C-3 spindles onto your year car to adapt it to use disc brakes.

Thanks Big Dave...looks like the easiest thing to do is just sell it to get rid
of it & use the rear that came with the spare frame I bought.
