Two Canucks, a Dog, and Zero Experience...

...equals www.impalaproject.blogspot.com

Hi folks,

My name is Craig, and me and my dear lady Teryn purchased a '68 Impala way back in September of last year and we are in the process of a total rebuild.

I'm coming to Team Impalas a bit late, but I've been lurking for quite a while.

Looking forward to swapping ideas and learning as much as I can from the fine people here! The link to our website has a lot of detail and pictures on our build.

Regards
Craig

Welcome Craig - I greatly admire that you 2 are jumping right in like that. Huge props to you both. I'm sure you'll piece it all back together in beautiful condition and have something to be proud of when you're done.

Keep that blog going too,....and keep us updated as you go.

Welcome! Nice to see another 68' saved and it is allways good to have the extra set of hands and the supervision of the better half.

Thanks 68 Imp!

I'm pretty blessed with that lady--she's just as passionate about this project as I am--even so far as to suggest that we turn our spare bedroom into a parts resto place during the winter months (Our garage isn't heated)--Of course I jumped all over that opportunity, and y'know, it's kinda nice to be able to sit on a couch and treat rust. It beats lying on a cold floor!

Regards
Craig

Big Dave,

Sorry, I must have been posting at the same time as you and I didn't see your question--Here is your answer (Don't mind the hole in my pants! It was cold and I was wearing a second pair of pants underneath!):

GSD's are great--smarter then I am, I think, and great companions. After October though I didn't want her near the messes and fluids that might cause her harm so she hasn't been out to the garage since.

Regards
Craig

Welcome and great pic of you and the dog! My dog is in like a dirty shirt wherever I am working on my car as well. She even crawls underneath the car when I am under it!
