Cool New to the site

Well I googled about impala wagons and here I am.I am the owner of a 1970 Chevy Kingswood impala wagon that belonged to my grandfather and was given to me after his death. It has a/c,p/s but manual drum brakes all the way around.Going to try and restore "Lazarus".Having problems finding parts to restore it with.Needing front sheetmetal, inner fenders, quarters, and lower front splash pan.Hope to talk to and hear more from all of you here.

Welcome Autolover70,

Love the brookwoods...had a '58 I still regret letting go...
As for the parts....Plenty of aftermarket parts out there..some not made anymore.
Keep watch on craigslist, ebay and others for stuff like fenders etc..

Good luck

Welcome to the site. I guess we have three 70 Kingswoods now?

Front is the same as 4dr Impala so hood, fenders and even front doors should be interchangeable. There was a post about that few weeks back. An upgrade to front discs would be a good investment. I have even installed 4dr weatherstripping for all doors on my wagon and the only modification I had to make was the removal of one or two pins.

Post some pics of your ride when you have a chance.

Welcome aboard!

The parts issue is always on the radar of post 1965 cars it seems--I'm sure you already have found these, but Ecklers, Impala Bobs, and Classic Industries all have pretty good catalogues of stuff. And of course check out any of the forum sponsors too!

Again, welcome

For the parts, ebay is really good. You need to keep adding things to your watchlist over there for a number of reasons, and one of them is notification when a car part is back into stock. Anyway welcome to the site.
