Hello to every one on the forum. i'm a newby when it comes to impala's and would like to thank every one for their help ahead of time.

just picked up a 68 impala custom 2 door hardtop with no motor. she has been sitting on blocks for 30 years. frame is perfect truck pan is almost spotless and the floors are good with only one blemish under the pedals. outer panels arnt so good.

plan is to strip it and start over from the ground up.

I looked at a 68 fastback before i bought this car. but it was way to far gone every panel was damaged beyond repair even the frame was smoked and the guy still wanted $2,200 firm because it ran and he said it was a rare car.
i'd love to have a fastback.
