66

The 1966 327 was only available with a 275hp motor forth full size. I imagine they mean after the engine work was completed it is now 300hp.

Welcome to the Team Jeff!

My B-body left the factory with a 190 horse 305 but I have worked on it to improve that number a bit, but then again it is no longer numbers matching. A 327 with a 300 horse rating obtained that number by raising the compression ratio. A 300 horse motor with iron heads is right at the limit of pump gas (92 octane) so hopefully yours is the 250 horse version that will run on 89 octane.
