drum to disc swap

looking to update drums to disc brake system on my 64 impala. 68 or newer will fit right? any hints of tips would help, never done this before, if anyone has, please give me a heads up, thanks

Not sure if 68 would fit 64 but look at the kits from Classic Performance Products and Matt's Classic Bowties. You can get full kit including power booster for around $500. I put CPP kit on my 70 wagon and couldn't be happier.

There are kits that adapt the Corvette/Girling four piston fixed bridge disc brakes to a 1958-1964 Chevy but the single piston full floating disc brake set-up is much cheaper.
