There's been a kind of peoples movement with US cars in Sweden since the late 50's so a lot of car's been taken care of.
Nowadays there is more cars than ever due to new import regulations.

US citizens coming to Sweden during the summer use to be shocked when they happen to see the cruisings or big meetings with all the cars in various contitions, all from perfectly restored to ratrides.

My 62 Bel Air though, is sold new in Malmoe, Sweden 1961.
Fairly beaten up, customized by some drunk youngsters so it was a lot of work to get it running legal. Lot of work left as well such as some sheetmetal and paint.
