Newest of the Newbies... so far.

My name is Daniel, and I have an inherited 1967 impala 4-door hardtop. It's in relatively decent shape, considering the fact that it has sat in a garage since 1995. I'm looking to do a semi-classic resto on it but my pockets arent as deep as they need to be.

Welcome Dan. We were all new here once. Post some photos of that 67. You say your's sat in a garage sense 95. My son just bought a 67 two door that was parked in a garage in 1988. Took him all day to get it unburied from everything that had been placed on it and inside it. Old garage finds are cool.

Garage finds are cool, but they turn into a bit of a risk sometimes. I tried to post a few pictures earlier, but i'll try again later. When we went to get her out of the garage, part of the roof had fallen in and narrowly missed the trunk. the paint is still mostly the original turquoise, but most of it has succumbed to mildew and age.

Welcome to the Team Daniel!

I think you will enjoy your car more for the effort you put into it than those who can afford to buy the work being done professionally. We can offer good advise and help you decide what battles to pick, when to run away (save to have it done professionally) and help you with your problems as they crop up.

Thanks Big Dave. Always been a fan of "Supernatural". thought about making my own rendition of the famous car. I've been questioning where to buy parts, such as lategreatchevy.com, and ebay, but dont quite know if im making the right choices.
