G'day from down under

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum...
My name is Mark & I live near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

I've always been drawn toward Chevys - my Dad had Chevy trucks (& so did his father before him), so maybe it's genetic.
I've had Chevy engines since 1977 & bought my first Impala (a '63) in 1980 & have had many more Chevys since then.

I've still got 2 Impalas patiently waiting (safely in the shed) for some restoration work - a '74 four-door hardtop that I bought in about '87 & a '65 9-seater wagon that I've had since '81.
The wagon is my favorite, but I've got 2 other car projects to do first (as well as a seemingly endless list of "household projects" as well).
I have been doing lots of research in preparation - sourcing parts & listening to other folk's opinions (on forums like this one) about suppliers, products, etc.
I love reading about what others are doing to their cars & how the "pool of knowledge" that these sort of forums offer, helps solve problems - I hope I can step in with some useful information occasionally as well.

Mark

Welcome to the Team Mark!

We actually have several members from the land of Oz. You guys aught to get together for a "drive about" though most are on the south east coast (Kind of like driving from Calgary, Alberta Canada to Atlanta, GA for a car show).

Thanks for the welcome Dave,
there are still lots of Chevro-nuts here - which, when you consider that Chevrolet cars haven't been sold (new) here since 1968, is pretty amazing.
