new from milwaukee

new to the site.just wanted to stop by and say hi.i have a 74 impala wagon i drag race.i know it sounds stupid but its really different.iam currently putting a new engine in over winter.the 468bbc just was not big enough to move 5300 lbs down the track.the fastest it went was 12.10.i will try to post pictures.thanks jason

Welcome to the board Jason. Might want to consider a high reving 555 cid standard deck with 402 decals; or a jump up to a 632 with a tall deck block. That has enough grunt to get you into the mid nines at close to 150 mph
