Been a Chevy fan ever since I've been around cars. I am a mechanic by trade and own my own shop. I don't get to work a lot on the old stuff, but I do get a good share.
My recent little project is a 63 Belair 4 door. Remarkably the floor boards and trunk pan are solid with NO holes. Other than the surface rust associated with sitting since 1984, it's really solid. Cleaned the carb and put in a fuel tank and it fired right up. Can't kill an inline 6, I've tried.
I also have a 63 Impala 327 300hp power window, power seat, power brakes, power steering, AC car. But that's a project for another day.
Seems like there's a lot of good eggs here, I look forward to exchanging information and advice.
