New Member! & a 58 I restored
I wish I would have found this site before I did this car.
It was a complete frame off restoration. I did all the disassembly, sheetmetal, body filler, primer and blocking, color sanding and buffing, then reassebly.
The ower done the chassie, engine 283, and Auto. transmission work.
He also had all the original stainless repolished.
And had the interior installed.
It also has all new glass.
It has 90% of the original stainless and has the original front and rear rechromed bumers. The grill has been chromed also.

Welcome to the board Shannon! You own a piece of art. A continental kit on a 58 is very rare and yours is superb.

Excellent !! Welcome to the site. That is a fine looking ride
Big Dave! This is not my car. Although I wish it was. really wish! It is a car I did for someone.
He bought the car about 4 years ago. And drove it alittle the first year he had it.
It took about an year and half to complete. We had around 800 hours in it.
It has had the quarters patched, new trunk floor, all new floor pans, inner and outer rockers, lower cowl repair, and the inner and outer door repaired. We found used rust free or I should say mostly rust free front fenders.
Really everything you see from the bottom of the body up about 12 inches has been replaced.
Now he has found an original 348, 3 carb., for it. And is also installing an original factory correct A/C system. Plus a original power brake booster.
Hopefuly he has all it done for next summer. Shannon
