New from CT, 62 Impala 4dr Sedan Stovebolt

Howdy everyone!
Just found the forum and I am excited to be able to learn and contribute to the boards. My name is Mike, and I have a 62 that I bought right out of boot camp in 2001. Used to daily it until I was deployed the first time (04) and it has been sitting since. Just freed up the engine, rebuilt the carb and replaced the fuel pump (plumbed to a jerry can for now, do not want to think about what it looks like in the tank). The car is rough from sitting, as it sits it will need rear floors, rockers and trunk (only in the back oddly enough). I had to take the interior out and I am contemplating using late model park avenue or deville power bench seats.

Any tips or help would be appreciated. Thankfully the father in law builds street rods so I have him and a few local old timers to help out but I intend to do as much work as possible myself.

Once again happy to be a part of the boards and I look forward to getting to know the Crowd!
