Hello from Downunder!

Hi All

I'm an Impala fan from Australia. I have owned 2 Canadian 64 Impalas for the past 23 years - a 6 seater wagon and a 4dr Sport Sedan.

After a long hiatus, my kids are now able to look after themselves, the house is finshed and the garden is under control - so it's back to my beloved cars!

Both will be full factory original restorations so am looking forward to interacting with you guys - particularly if you are an expert on the subtle differences with the Canadian RHD export models.

I'll head straight over to the cowl tag threads now!

Cheers

Simon

That's what I thought Bob...until I noticed the valve covers, air cleaners, firewall colours were all different....of course not to mention the reversed 1961 Pontiac dash!

Where are you two from in OZ. I'm from Perth but currently living overseas. I just started work on my '67 coupe that I plan to bring back home once I'm done here.

That's the plan. Cost of labour is pretty cheap over here and the shops are used to working on the locals Ferraris and other exotics because of all the oil wealth. So, getting the car sorted shouldn't be a problem apart from the parts.
