New guy here. 64 Impala

My name is Phil and I live in Michigan. I have recently purchased a 64 Impala like the one I purchased in May of 64. The car has been repainted and is a 20' car, but I am happy with that. I have reworked the front and rear suspension and rebuilt the steering and brakes. I have a 28 Ford street rod with a 383 stroker and 700R4 transmission which I have owned for 30 years. I have been lurking on the forum for a few months and decided it is time to join. I will have many questions in the future. Thanks, Phil

Welcome to the Team Phil!

So what does your Model A look like? Frame, suspension? I will wager it isn't all stock except for motor and tranny.

The "A" is steel except the fenders. Non modified two door sedan body. The frame is the original with many modifications. It has a unequal four bar hooked to a 8" Maverick rear. Modified Mustang 2 front end. It is home built and has traveled 144,000 miles so far. It has had a couple of engines and transmissions along the way, but for the most part it is dependable.

We drove the "A" on vacations for years. We traveled 36 states and some Canadian Provinces. We usually don't travel out of state anymore so the mileage has slowed down.
