Noob here :)

Hey Guys, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Hershey and this is officially my first post on this forum.

I have a 1966 Chevy Impala SS sporting a 468ci Big Block. My father passed away last year, leaving me the car. I have more of a background in Camaros, having owned 7-8.

At any rate, glad I found this forum and look forward to being an active member

Welcome Kevin, My first car at 16 was a 65 Impala SS, Then I did the Camaro, Chevelle, and Monte Carlo thing with several of each. Here I am at almost 60 with two 65 Impalas's and a 67 Camaro.

Take a look

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I forgot to post a link to some pics. Hope you like it.

I ordered by Coy wheels yesterday, and the CPP Big Brake kit was shipped earlier this week. I plan on doing an installation blog during the process, I'll post a link to the blog and pics once complete (next 2 weeks, or as soon as time permits)

My first love is the Camaro, I've owned 7. My last was a highly modified `93, 10 second nitrous car, way to much money invested, but a blast to drive... I had to sell it when my father passed.

My dream car is a 70 split bumper Camaro, so sweet. I do love my 66, its an awesome cruiser, but don't have the same feel as the Camaro Time to mod!

Welcome aboard Kevin, that's a sweet looking Impala you got there. I love the color, but then I'm biased, I've got a marina blue ss as well :-)
I'll be waiting for your installation blog on the brake kit. Keep the pics coming also mate, especially when the wheels are on.
Do you plan on lowering her at all when the Coys go on?

Sure do, only slightly though. I don't want the car slammed because there are too many speed bumps and potholes in my area and all surrounding areas.

Thanks for the heads up.. that's supposed to be public. I may have posted the wrong link.. i'll get it corrected and repost.

I'm hearin ya there. Speed humps are springing uo like a herpes outbreak around my town as well.
I lowered mine slightly, it dropped around 2" at the front and a tad less at the rear. I'd like it lower, but couldn't handle scraping the headers on every speed hump in town.

Accessing my Public Site

Can anybody view the images stored at this link?

https://kevinhershey-public.sharepoi...es/Impala.aspx

I've had multiple friends/family try it without issue. BTW, you probably won't be able to view it from a mobile phone, otherwise.. should be good to go

Here are some of the pictures there for those that can't access the site:
