I like those weather deflectors; as I lived out of my car a lot when I was still working. That meant that I spent a lot of time in the Drive-in line at my burger in a box restaurant. They allow you to order your healthy fast food in the rain without getting the in side of the door panel getting wet (where the intelligent engineers at GM put the window controls and auto lock buttons so that they will go bad faster; making you buy a new car to replace it). Cars designed to last a long time like a Volvo, or Mercedes Benz, or a Roll Royce for that matter, put those controls on the dash or the center console.

Of course I don't own a 2015 Impala with my newest Chevy being my 2011 5.3 L six speed Silverado (in the Southeast a pick-up truck is your car).
