That is different.

I doubt if any of our members will be out driving their pride and joy on roads covered in black ice.

I was wondering how they would fit on a larger wheel than 15 inches. Looks like some one took the anti-theft wrapping off a flat screen TV and wrapped it around a tire. I am more used to the last picture when it comes to tire chains.

They easily fit most of 15-20" tires. And are installed in seconds. And it's all about taste)
As for Impala owners to drive black iced roads, things happen!

As I sit reading this with the house opened up to let in some fresh air, I am still in my shorts (dictated my both of my legs being operated on recently so that I have braces on both legs that won't work with blue jeans). I am thinking who could possibly want a snow chain when the temperature today is going to hit 79 (82 tomorrow). Then I remember: today is the reenactment of the 1979 Blizzard that crippled the Northeast.

I still say the same thing though. Don't drive in snow and ice unless you want to be in one of those videos they show on the evening news every time there is a big ice storm with all the vehicles on the roadway playing bumper car (How do they get those videos anyway? Post some poor cameraman out in the snow at the bottom of every hill and hope his video makes it past the editor's desk?) I would call in sick (of working in bad weather)

I remember taking out a glass phone booth in my 64 SS on black ice. It didnt help the car very well either.
