65 Bel Air 2 door post rear seat bottom?

I' having a hell of a time finding a rear seat bottom that will fit. I've already got turquoise seat covers from CARS.inc. I have a 66 4 door bottom...don't fit. I have a 64 2 door post bottom...don't fit. And I know a 2 door hardtop isn't wide enough. Where the heck can I find a seat bottom. Can anyone help me please???

The rear seat out of the same year two door sedan should fit your car.

A four door rear seat wont fit because the corner of the seat is rounded and fully upholstered as you see it when you open the rear door. Additionally the two door hard top, or sport coupe as Chevy calls it, uses the same rear seat as the convertible which has to account for or provide room at the side the top's levers and cylinders that actuate the top's movement. Those seats are curved inward and slope down more than the sedan seat.

Just be sure to get the same year as there are styling differences.

rear seat interchange

just checked the Hollander manual i have - 40th Ed. 1974, for some reason it does not give break down on rear seats in Section 9A, although it gives front seat, and front seat tracks information and interchange. Any experts know why this is?? The Hollander i have is Volume II, Body. Going out on a limb, would guess that any 65 - 70 two door sedan (post) or hardtop rear seat frame would work. The metal floor stampings of the floors, inner quarters, and trunk divider / package tray should be very similar if not the same for the 65 to 70 model years. Would other 65 - 70 GM BOP two door post or two door sedan cars work? Maybe, but i would not bet the farm on it.

I sold a 67 Belair 2 door rear seat and it looked as though it would fit 65-70.
