Best weather-stripping

Just wondering if anyone can recommend the best roof rail weather-stripping for my 65 ss. The stuff on there now seems soft, but when I roll the windows up it whistles like crazy. I'm sure various vendors are better than others.

Only 3

Wouldn't buy from anyone but:

Soft Seal

Metro

https://www.metrommp.com

Steele

http://www.steelerubber.com

All other pretty much buy from these 3.

Personally, I like Metro but you'll hear other's opinions.

I agree with Paul there. I've had some good Metro, and some good SoftSeal as well.

Sam, don't forget that your windows have adjustments inside the door as well. (up/down/tilt, forward/back, even inside/outside lean)
It may help you get the alignment needed, or pressure needed to get rid of that whistle.
One neat tip someone told me, and I was just mentioning to a friend last night at a cruise-in, is that the use of smoke such as a cigarette or incense can help locate the spot of the leak. You really need a 2nd person for that.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the leads and good advice. I had no idea there are adjustments inside the door! I don't cruise around too much with the windows up, but when I do its nice not to hear that whistle. I will look into adjusting them and will definitely need some pointers. Like I said the seals are not cracked or rotten and look like they have been replaced at some point. If I need new ones Metro is only 1/2 hour away!
