Unhappy Front bench seat 1968 broke off hinge. Advice?

Anyone have experience on dealing with a broken front seat? the driver's side back support bench completely broke out of its socket and the socket is warped. Not even sure where to begin to repair or replace. Any suggestions from the ground up would be helpful thanks

Just about all the Chevy Buick Olds Pontiac seats were the same from that era. I found a power Olds seat with a center arm rest that bolted right in. Check Craiglist.

Yes don't forget the 1970 model year also should fit. Not to mention that fact that Cadillac, Buick, and Pontiac should be included in the mix.

I ripped out and recycled the full interior out of an Electra 225 for my Impala which was a considerable upgrade over what I had before. Split power bench seats and power windows and a tilt steering wheel all swapped over and bolted up. I didn't install the powered radio antenna or lighted ash trays as I think that was a bit over board. I did install the map reading dome light combination as I do read maps and other written material at night.
