Cutting rear deck for 6x9

Do you guys think it's a bad idea to cut holes in the rear deck to install 6x9's? My previous impalas had already been cut, so I really never cared. I'm just kinda curious if I cut this thing if it's going to degrade the value of the car. I highly doubt it would by much if it did, but I'm no expert.

Thoughts?

I really don't want lose speakers roaming the interior cabin. The rear deck is the only option I can see. I mean you gotta have music to cruise!

Garage
I did on my 66 Impala. If next person who owns your car doesn't like it, he can fix it. You gotta have tunes.
