Exclamation Help with Interior Color

Hello ,
I plan on refreshing my SS interior, and appreciate your input guys.

The Interior color code is ( 844-B ) which is bright blue, and I am going for the OER interior paint.

I am confused since they have like several shades in blue, should I go for light or bright blue ?

If used, will it stay on the steering wheel ?

Thanks in advance

With any painting it is all about the preperation. You can fill any cracks in with dedicated high fiber plastic filler designed to work in steering wheel repair. Body filler and glaze after sanding to get a smooth finish that is primed and sealed before painting.

Thanks for your reply ..
The wheel itself is in a good shape w/o cracks .. The paint is peeling.
I will consider your process when painting.
Thanks again

If it was me, I would take my best guess at the color, Paint the steering wheel and compare. If not correct, it will be easy to scuff and spray with other color. As long as a person is doing your own work and not paying labor cost, the price of your paint is trivial. And yes it will stick and slowly wear off as time goes by.

Have you seen the two tone wheels? Some 65-66's came from the factory with two colors on them.
