Factory tach install w aftermarket tilt wheel
I recently purchased a factory tach for my 64 SS. Honestly I didn't give the aftermarket tilt steering column much thought. When I went to install the aftermarket column looks to be larger in diameter than the stock piece which would not let the factory tach seat down far enough in the dash and on top of the steering column. A body-man friend agreed.
Has anyone had success matching a factory tach and an aftermarket steering column? If so how did you do it?
