Headliner install and other question

Guys: anybody installed their own headliner on a 62 hardtop? I've done a couple on older street rods and they came out fine but this looks a little more involved. Any thoughts? Also is red or white the correct headliner color for a white car, red interior?
Lastly, having not dealt with any of the full size car distributors before (always had Chevelles) I notice Classic Industries appears to be a little less expensive....are their products o-k or should I be looking elsewhere (Bobs, Ecklers, etc.)? Thanks !!!

Thumbs up

I did my own on my 63 , not hard at all just take your time. I went and got 2 bags of the 1 1/2" binder clips to keep tight while I worked the liner tight. Keep your bows in order as they were taking out. Start from the venter and work your way to front then to the back and use the clips to keep it tight .Don't glue it yet ,I worked on mine a little each night , give it time to relax on its own better if it is warm out .You will feel when it stretches out .after it was stretched I unclipped 1 side and shot the glue and sealed it up also I used a staple gun craftsmen power shot and shot some staples then went to the other side and front and back.
There are a couple videos on the web 1 from PUI that gives you an idea on what to do. Had a few minor wrinkles when I finneshed but a day in the hot sun to care of them.
