New locks/ignition: Long or short cylinder?

The Impala I'm buying this weekend (63) no longer has the key with it, but the owner says any old GM key open/start it. Because of this, I want to replace all the locks instead of getting a key cut from the cylinder number.

I'd like to order the new locks now so I have them as soon as I get the car. The only problem is there's a long and short kit.

Is this just a generic part so long and short are needed? (I.E, are all 63s long or short or are they all different.)

Thank you

Okay, so Impala Bob's lists the long cylinders for coupes and convertibles and shorts for sedans. Can anyone with a 4 door confirm this?
